
I have talked about PechaKucha before, 20 slides x 20 secs each, reflecting on how good this would be for creative agency presentations. A focusing of the mind if you like. However, the guys who organise these presentations have started posting these presentations online and there are some really interesting visual and audio examples of how this should be done.
PSFK also make the point:
It’s an interesting example of online-offline-online: People who know each other virtually, congregate and share ideas in the real world then those ideas then go back online.
I for one think that PK presentations can really start to shape a more dynamic industry and way of thinking, so hopefully we will see these become less stunt like and more about a way of life within the business world. It certainly brings about the sense of “simplicity” which people like John Maeda have searched for and companies like Philips have tried to implement.
