Coca-Cola Launches World Cup Campaign with History of Celebration

Unfortunately, this does slot into CrapVertising, only just though. Coca-Cola have certainly taken their sponsor rights to town with this portrayal of the World Cup celebrations of by gone years. My personal favourite is the “jousting” one. Although, I don’t really like this advert – its all abit lame. I am hopeful that they will turn this into a pandemic online by creating consumer generated inputs into their ads… new celebrations from fans watching in the “armchair” during the World Cup.

Digigen Quick Fix:
Use real-time uploads to allow fans to upload their celebrations during the World Cup via webcam or video, which are then taken into Coca-Cola’s TV campaign during the half-time or full-time breaks. Give World Cup final tickets as the prize for the best one.. lets hope its England v someone in the final.
