Digigen & The TinMan

I’m not entirely sure how or why,  but I have become a pretty big Chase & Status fan. Perhaps its because they represent rave culture from the 90s in their music. Anyway, Somesuch & Co who work alongside The Brooklyn Brothers helped produce this video for their latest track. I think its a pretty outstanding video.

I have no idea what a Pixel Bender is. I wouldn’t like to comment. However, this app/map is pretty damn cool so I am going to just drop it in here with the embed code and let it do the talking.

A pretty cool example of how to scratch with the iPad from a guy called DJ Sub Zero. Shame about the name, but the video is good. I just love the idea of being able to mix and scratch off two ipads or even an ipad and iphone!

But to see how you should really mix, check out Kentaro from DMC 2002. That’s true talent.

A great image here from Flight Explorer which shows the lack of flights over the (red) ash areas. Given that Austria has now opened up its airspace, there are a few dots of flights in that area. Otherwise its all happening south of the France/Spain borderline. Great
